The
child's and juvenile folk ensemble "Bulgarche" starts its creative path in 1968.
A founder and a long time chief choreographer of the ensemble is Mr. Mihail
Diulgerov.
In its 40 years of history, the ensemble has won multiple prizes at national and
international folk happenings. It has won 17 gold medals, it has become a
laureate of the IV, V, VI and VII National festivals for art.
The ensemble is the only bearer of CIOFF's "Representative" title in the area.
Ensemble "Bulgarche" is
a bearer of The Center for Amateur Art's plaque and a bearer of the "Golden
Lyre" award of the National Musician's and Dancer's Union.
Ensemble's performance set list includes dances, plays and orchestra suites from
all the ethnographic regions of Bulgaria.
CJFE "Bulgarche" is an art formation from the city of Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria.
It embodies over 200 kids who are between 4 and 19 years of age. The ensemble
consists of three units - a folk orchestra, a folk choir and a dance group.
The ensemble has performed over 2000 concerts in the country and abroad. The
Bulgarian kids have conquered the hearts of thousands of spectators - people
from Moldova, The Ukraine, Russia, Poland, Serbia, Greece, Turkey, Italy, The
Czech Republic, Hungary, France, Belgium, Germany, The United Arab Emirates,
Thailand, Macedonia, Croatia and so on!
Current directors of the enseble are: Mr. Petar Petrov - chief choreographer,
Mitko Dimitrov - conductor of the
orchestra and Galya ivanova - conductor of the choir.
The name of ensemble Bulgarche is emblematic!
It is a school for patriotism and acceptance in the folk tradition.
